The Country House is immediately adjacent to the proprietor’s Villa, inhabited since 1520, where the family welcomes and entertains guests. At an altitude of 500 m (approx. 1500 ft), cool breezes keep the site comfortable in the Tuscan sun. The renowned thermal baths of Rapolano are just 15 km distant. Organised tours to nearby hill towns, wine regions and cultural centres may also be arranged. Examples are Montalcino, Montepulciano, the Chianti area, Florence, Siena and Assisi. Additionally tours are available to Italian fashion “outlets” such as Prada, Gucci and Ferragamo.
The complex consists of eight apartments from one to three bedrooms, each with a bathroom. Each apartment features a spacious living room with kitchenette furnished with a refrigerator, a cook top, oven/microwave unit and dining table. Other amenities include convertible sofa for two, satellite TV, and a wall safe. The inviting and functional furnishings are in keeping with the Tuscan character of the area. Rentals in the panoramic setting include use of a large swimming pool (21 x 42 ft) surrounded by a landscaped sunning area. In addition there is a guest lounge with internet availability, barbecue sets, adult and children games, a communal laundry and covered parking.
“Apartment Caterina”: 74 sqm. with 6 + 2 beds, located at 1st floor. It consists of a living room with kitchenette and and a convertible sofa for two, 2 double bedrooms and 1 with a bunk bed, each with bathroom.
“Apartment Edoardo”: 45 sqm. with 2 + 2 beds, it is located at 1st floor. It consists of a large living room with kitchenette and and a convertible sofa for two, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom.
“Apartment Filippo”: 60 sqm. with 4 + 2 beds, it is located at the ground floor. It consists of a living room, two bedrooms each with French style double bed and separate bathrooms. In the living-room, having a separate exit to a vineyard where the swimming pool is located, there is a kitchenette, a dining table and a convertible sofa for two.
“Apartment Giovanni”: 104 sqm. with 4 + 2 beds, it is a 3-level with entry through an arcade. From the living room, with kitchenette and dining table, one can exit to an outside covered area suitable for outside dining. On the first level there is a bedroom with twin beds that can be combined into a double; at a lower level a bedroom with a double bed, each bedroom has its own bathroom. At the mezzanine level, in the large original kitchen of the olive press area, there is a convertible sofa for two and space for a family room.
“Apartment Jacopo”: 43 sqm. with 2 + 2 beds, entry is through a park-like setting with a lovely vista. It consists of a large living room with kitchenette and and a convertible sofa for two, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom.
“Apartment Pietro”: 67 sqm. with 4 + 2 beds. A single level apartment with entrance through the original farmyard where grain was once thrashed. The apartment consists of a large living room with kitchenette and and a convertible sofa for two and 1 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 3 beds, each with bathroom.
“Apartment Sofia Chiara”: 92 sqm. with 6 + 2 beds. It is located at the 1st floor. It consists of a large living room with kitchenette and a convertible sofa for two, 2 double bedrooms and 1 France style double bed bed, each with bathroom.
“Apartment Tommaso”: 75 sqm with 4 + 2 beds. It is located at the 1st floor. The apartment consists of a large living room with kitchenette and and a convertible sofa for two and 2 double bedrooms each with bathroom.
